Founded in 1950, just two years after the establishment of the State of Israel, Miss Israel has been one of the country’s longest-standing and most recognized national traditions for more than seventy-five years. Throughout its history, the title has represented Israel on the international stage, celebrating generations of accomplished Israeli women and serving as a symbol of national pride, culture, and excellence.
Over the decades, the Miss Israel title has been associated with remarkable women who went on to achieve international success, including Gal Gadot, one of the world’s leading actresses, Rina Mor, Israel’s first Miss Universe, and Linor Abargil, Miss World 1998.
Today, the Miss Israel Organization is dedicated to preserving and advancing this historic legacy while ensuring that Israel continues to be represented on the international stage. Working alongside partners, advisors, and supporters in Israel and across the global Jewish community, the organization promotes leadership, cultural diplomacy, community engagement, and a positive image of Israel around the world.
Miss Israel is more than a title. It is a tradition that reflects the strength, diversity, and spirit of Israeli society. By honoring its rich heritage while embracing future generations, the organization remains committed to inspiring young women, strengthening the bond between Israel and Jewish communities worldwide, and proudly carrying one of Israel’s most recognized cultural legacies into the future.
